The Holiday Movie Story Synopsis

This Romance-Comedy was released on December 8th 2006, filmed in Los Angeles USA and London England, directed by Nancy Meyers and lasts 131 minutes. Two unhappy women who meet eachother over the internet and swap domiciles for the holidays. Amanda (Cameron Diaz Review) owns an advertising firm in Los Angeles but has so little time for her partner, that he decides to cheat on her. Iris (Kate Winslet), a journalist for the Daily Telegraph, has the same problem with her boyfriend, but she still loves him. Iris gets a modern mansion with all the conveniences that makes life so wonderful while Amanda is going to live in a cozy country. To her surprise Iris' brother Graham (Jude Law) is included in the swap, allthough it wasn't mentioned before. Of course they both fall in love. Iris makes friends with an old Hollywood screenwriter, who helps her overcome a depression. During her stay in Hollywoodland she meets Miles (Jack Black). He's a surprisingly cool guy, but his girlfriend also cheats on him.
