The Benchwarmers Movie Story - Synopsis. Richie(Spade), Clark(Heder) and Gus(Schneider) are nerdy buddies, scouted by a rich person called Mel(Lovitz), who wants to form a baseball team of nerds and compete with the meanest Little League teams in the state.
