Eragon Movie Story Synopsis

This Family SF-Fantasy was released on December 15th 2006, filmed in Budapest, Hungary, directed by Stefan Fangmeier and based upon the trilogy by Christopher Paolini. The movie is set in land of Alagaësia where a youngster named Eragon finds a dragon egg. Many, many years ago Galbatorix, a dragon rider, took all the power. Before that dragon riders in conjunction with their dragons possessed special skills. The boy calls the flying dragon that comes out of the egg Saphira and together they try to regain their powers.
